Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. The HR Assistant will assist with daily HR functions, including recruitment, employee record maintenance, payroll processing, and providing administrative support to the HR team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support:
    • Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
    • Help prepare onboarding materials and assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Employee Records Management:
    • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Assist in maintaining HR databases and employee files, both electronic and paper-based.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration:
    • Support the processing of payroll by collecting and verifying timekeeping information.
    • Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • HR Policy Implementation:
    • Assist in the communication and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Provide support in employee relations issues, including documentation and follow-up.
  • General Administrative Support:
    • Answer and direct HR-related inquiries to the appropriate team members.
    • Assist in organizing HR events and training sessions.
    • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
