Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead and oversee sales activities within a designated area. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, establish strong relationships with clients, and manage a team of sales representatives. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a deep understanding of sales principles and a proven track record of achieving targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Identify business growth opportunities and implement strategies to drive revenue and market share within the assigned area.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise sales representatives, ensuring they meet individual and team targets.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals by managing the sales pipeline and forecasting accurately.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and customer needs, reporting insights to management and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor Sales Performance: Track individual and team performance metrics, providing coaching and feedback to improve productivity.
  • Coordinate with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations, and prepare regular sales reports for management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial role.

    • Strong leadership and people management skills
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
    • Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales and CRM software
