Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Audit Assistant to support our audit team in conducting financial and compliance audits. The ideal candidate will assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting audit evidence while ensuring adherence to audit standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Audit Support:
    • Assist in planning and conducting financial and compliance audits.
    • Participate in the development of audit plans and programs.
    • Prepare and maintain audit workpapers and documentation.
  2. Data Collection:
    • Gather and review financial statements, reports, records, and other documents.
    • Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial and operational data.
  3. Audit Testing:
    • Perform audit tests as directed, including substantive testing and control testing.
    • Identify and report discrepancies and irregularities.
  4. Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
    • Contribute to the drafting of audit reports.
  5. Compliance Monitoring:
    • Review and assess compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  6. Documentation:
    • Maintain organized and complete audit files and records.
    • Update and maintain audit software and tools.
  7. Communication:
    • Collaborate with team members and auditees to gather information and address inquiries.
    • Communicate audit findings with clarity and professionalism.
  8. Continuous Learning:
    • Stay updated on audit standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with auditing principles and standards.
