- Food Preparation:
- Follow recipes and prepare a variety of dishes, ensuring the highest quality and presentation standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, chopping vegetables, and portioning proteins.
- Cook and plate dishes according to established standards and guidelines.
- Monitor food levels and replenish supplies as needed.
- Kitchen Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient food production.
- Communicate effectively with chefs, kitchen staff, and waitstaff.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished products to ensure they meet our standards.
- Report any kitchen equipment malfunctions to the appropriate parties.
- Proven experience as a Cook in a similar setting.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and various cuisines.
- Ability to follow recipes and execute dishes consistently.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
