We are seeking a responsible and reliable Driver to join our team. The Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods, products, or passengers to their destinations. The ideal candidate should have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Safe Transportation: Safely operate and drive various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, or buses, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups, taking into account traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Report any issues or repairs needed promptly.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading goods or passengers as required, ensuring proper handling and securement of items.
- Customer Service: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, clients, or passengers. Provide assistance and information as needed.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, and delivery or pickup logs. Complete all required paperwork or digital documentation related to the job.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries. Ensure the safe transport of goods or passengers at all times.
- Time Management: Manage time effectively to meet delivery and pickup schedules. Notify the dispatcher or supervisor of any delays or issues.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with the dispatch team and report any incidents, accidents, or traffic violations promptly.
- Cleanliness: Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, both inside and outside.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license for the appropriate vehicle class.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items if required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
