Job Description

The Warehouse Executive plays a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and timely storage, distribution, and handling of goods. The role involves inventory management, coordinating shipments, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
    • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
    • Manage stock levels, reorder points, and restock inventory as required.
  • Order Fulfillment:
    • Process orders, package goods, and prepare them for dispatch.
    • Coordinate with transport teams to ensure timely deliveries.
    • Handle customer queries related to shipment and stock availability.
  • Warehouse Operations:
    • Ensure smooth operation of the warehouse, from receiving goods to dispatching orders.
    • Implement best practices in organizing and storing goods efficiently.
    • Ensure all equipment is maintained and used safely.
  • Team Supervision:
    • Oversee a team of warehouse staff, including scheduling shifts and assigning tasks.
    • Train, guide, and monitor team performance, ensuring all activities are aligned with company goals.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Enforce strict adherence to safety standards in the warehouse.
    • Ensure all operations comply with company policies and local regulations.
    • Conduct safety audits and implement corrective measures where necessary.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate documentation related to stock, shipments, and daily operations.
    • Generate periodic reports on inventory, orders, and team performance for management review.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in warehouse or inventory management.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management software and systems (e.g., SAP, WMS).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
